A wash programme designed for cars protected with a ceramic coating. With use, limescale, mineral deposits and road salt build up on the coating – water no longer beads off the paintwork the way it did in the first weeks after the coating was applied. This programme dissolves exactly these deposits and restores the coating's original water-repellent properties.
What does the programme include?
- Gentle pre-wash and high-pressure rinse – heavy dirt comes off the coating without rubbing.
- Hand wash with Koch-Chemie Reactivation Shampoo: a shampoo developed specifically for ceramic coatings that dissolves limescale, mineral deposits and road salt.
- Coating-friendly, pH-neutral cleaning of the other surfaces.
- Wheel cleaning and tyre care.
- Exterior window cleaning.
- Interior dusting and vacuuming.
- Car fragrance.
What will you see on the car?
- Water beads off the paintwork again, and the surface feels smooth and slick.
- Easier drying: fewer water streaks and limescale spots left on the car.
- The coating lasts longer, because dried-on deposits no longer speed up its ageing.
Which products do we use?
We work with Koch-Chemie premium car care products. They are gentle on surfaces and give a nicer, longer-lasting result than general-purpose cleaners.
- Restoring wash: Koch-Chemie Reactivation Shampoo.
- Optional protective layer on top of the ceramic: Koch-Chemie S0.02 Spray Sealant.
When is it worth booking?
- If the car has a ceramic coating and its water repellency has noticeably weakened.
- If limescale spots or a dull haze have appeared on the paintwork or the glass.
- You don't need it at every wash: as a restoring clean every 2–4 months is usually enough, and our regular programmes are right for the washes in between.
Good to know before booking
- We do not carry out this treatment on a freshly applied coating that has not yet cured. Please let us know when booking if the coating is recent – in that case we recommend a gentle wash instead.
- We work in the shade on a cool body, so we allow about 90 minutes per car.
- On request, after the wash we also apply Koch-Chemie S0.02 protection: a sacrificial layer on top of the ceramic that keeps the water repellency going for longer.
